A highlight of innovation: the first Jacquelyn Anderson Wellness Innovation Award
A special moment of the 2024 Wellness Academy was the presentation of the first Jacquelyn Anderson Wellness Innovation Award to Victor Baquero, MD.
This prestigious award, established by the UC Davis School of Medicine Office of Wellness Education, honors staff or faculty who demonstrate exceptional innovation in research, education, or advocacy within the field of wellness. This award underscores the university’s commitment to promoting the importance of wellness and recognizing those who champion its advancement. Nominations for the 2024 award were open to all eligible UC Davis staff and faculty, encouraging self-nominations as well.
