- 1 (12 oz) jar roasted red peppers, drained
- 1 plum tomato, diced
- 2-3 tbsp nut butter of choice (almond, peanut, or cashew)
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper, ground
- 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
- 1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Step 1: Blend ingredients
In a food processor, combine the roasted red peppers, diced tomato, nut butter, garlic (or garlic powder), smoked paprika, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar. Blend until ingredients are well combined.
Step 2: Add oil
While blending, slowly drizzle in the oil until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Adjust flavor and consistency, then enjoy!
If the sauce is too thick, add water or more oil, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.For extra heat, add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sauce. (Personally I love to add extra paprika for more smokiness!)
